5Not everyone can or wants to join the gym.  My opinion is that the gym (for most people) is a waste of money.  I am a fan of Beachbody products that allow you to get a great workout in the comfort of your home.  I have used several at home DVDs and have gotten great results.

For those that are new to exercising or have limited mobility, I have found 5 easy in-home exercises that most people can use. I must advise everyone to please consult their doctor before beginning any exercise program, especially if it has been a while since working out.

      1. I eliminated the gym membership years ago and traded it for walking outside and spending time at the park. I enjoy being outside in the clean fresh air. Peaceful.

  1. I couldn’t agree more. If you want to get in shape, lose weight, be healthier, etc…all you need is the *motivation* to do it and nothing else. There is no need for gym memberships or expensive equipments, work out gear, whatever. If you *want* to get fit, you can, and it won’t cost you anything. An old t-shirt, tracksuit bottom, the great outdoors or your living room are all that’s needed. Sorry for the long comment but I hear so many people say they can’t afford, or don’t have the time, to get healthier…and that’s such rubbish. If you want to, you CAN! It’s really that simple 🙂
