  1. I think it is a good idea to set small doable goals that give you confidence to gradually move onto more complex ones. If you bite off more than you can chew then you become discouraged. Examine the resources and time available on a daily or weekly basis then move on from there. I’m open to trying new things but if my request is denied or sickness and/or family responsibilities step in I’m learning not to get angry to but accept the delays and detours of life. If it’s meant for you it will happen in God’s timing not yours.

    1. I agree with you. When I conduct Q&As at the end of my engagements I inform those interested in beginning exercise to start by walking 5 minutes every single day for 1 week. Many are amazed at the confidence they gain in one week. Accomplishing any goal, regardless of “size,” raises your level of confidence.
