6My last installment for the day deals with several key points to keep in mind when trying to identify with the authentic you.  I have learned a lot today and had several revealing conversations that have opened my eyes to how many people do not feel like they are living for themselves.  I hope this helps open some other eyes:

  1. I’m finding ways to return to my real self and a better life through walking and hiking. I live in New York City but Labor Day I found out that Central Park has nature trails called The Ramble. Just think I was born, raised and more or less have lived in New York all my life but I don’t see the sights the way the tourists do. When I was a child my Dad took me to Central Park and I remember riding on the Merry-Go-Round.

    I spent a little over an hour in Central Park and found many discoveries. I could go at my own pace and Central Park is beautiful and well maintained. I feel better if I can get outside and close to nature. Being cooped up at work is a necessary evil. So after work is the best time for me. Obviously being a working woman I have little time to pursue my walks but I try to get in some walking every day. I’m about to begin a week long vacation and I will use this time to explore my city some more. Time to take a bite out of the Big Apple.     As you can see I enjoy taking photos. Photography is one of my passions so wherever I am in the city I’m ready to capture the moment(s).
