The Only Limits are Those You Place on Yourself

aaa-hell-yes-posterToday’s discussion revolves around the idea of why we focus on what we cannot do instead of what we can do.  We can’t go on vacation because we don’t have money.  We can’t change jobs because we can’t take less money.  We can’t do this, we can’t do that.  Can’t, can’t, can’t.

What about the things you can do?

  1. “The Only Limits are Those You Place on Yourself”. hmmm … as much as I can agree with so much of what you say … this isn’t one. Maybe it’s the word “only”. I realize it’s just something we say “the only reason… yadda yadda yadda”. But there are limits in life, many that I would get beyond if possible, but don’t have the resources. I understand the sentiment, but lately I’ve been fighting the carefree way we seem to throw phrases and cliche’s around as if they were truths.

–eh, never mind me. Coffee must not have kicked in yet………

    1. Semantics can be argued in many cases. But, you are always entitled to your opinion and I, like you, usually don’t make decisions or have conversations until the coffee has been infused via IV! lol
