What inspires me? Seeing 600 or more veterans in wheelchairs, putting all they have into various adaptive sports for wheelchair users. I myself am one of these. I am leaving tomorrow for Salt Lake City, where I’ll be taking part in this week-long event myself. Especially inspiring last year was seeing this two-year-old girl, in a wheelchair that she was standing in, moving around and taking part in the kid’s day activities, just as the adults do. To her, this life in that chair is normal, and probably always will be.
The People of the UK, all of them, and the challenges of democracy within nation-states our Unions.

God, nature, music, the written word, art, people, and sometimes just random things when I’m seemingly looking at nothing. 🙂

I’ve had movies and books inspire me. Also some people in my life and public life. A good live performance is very inspiring. Lots of things!

My family. They look up to me and I try to live up to their expectations.

Families can be a powerful source of inspiration. Possibly one of the most powerful.
