      1. Not on my “bucket list.” BTW, I really hate that expression. But yes, I could get up and finish writing that novel in the middle of the night. Trouble is the brain batteries get run down by then….

  1. Hmmm… Good question. After backpack travelling alone for three weeks in Denmark lately, I realized that I wanted to eliminate as much negativity from my daily life when back in Canada… And I just notice negative people 10 times more, now that I am working on that… I wish I had a magic wand to erase all useless negativity, especially from the lives of the people I love.

    1. I agree with you that negative people are frustrating. I learned that negative people have no place in my life. Trying to “fix” them only increases the frustration so I avoid contact.

      1. There’s a quote I found lately that sums it up quite nicely… Something like “if people try to make you sad or angry, ignore them. It’s not your job to make them happy!” 🙂

        I love it…

    1. I battled that and still do to some degree. It can be frustrating, but the more you take control of your own life and do the best you can do, others really don’t matter.

  2. Same frustration as controversialcook We seem to have a lot in common Ahha…. However the biggest frustration for me is that as I live in the UK and in particular London it’s impossible to communicate with people. When it comes to making friends and even exchange a conversation with someone England and in particular London is the worst and most unfriendly country in the world.I’m seriously thinking to migrate somewhere else more friendly especially after that this xenophobic, jingoistic country has foolishly voted to leave Europe. Charles De Gaul who was the president of France always said that English don’t integrate with Europeans that is why he always vetoed Britain to join the EU. How right he was.

  3. Dealing with my Mom (it’s an inheritance thing…). There is not a single conversation that is not turned into a discussion about money at the moment and I don’t want to do that. I only want to know how she is feeling. That’s all… Frustrating… honestly…

      1. The sad thing is they she has everything. Everything. A healthy family, she’s healthy, she has a good life. But it’s not important to her…
