  1. It’s what I’ve always been taught. If you’re gonna do something, do it well. Give it your all, so even if it doesn’t work, no one can say you didn’t try 😊

  2. Depends on what I am doing. If someone else is depending on me and my efforts than I think I make sure that things are done extra carefully. I may slack a bit if I know it is just for me. lol

  3. I like challenges in order see how far I can go and also to find out things. For me it’s a matter of personal growth and of reaching a better understanding. Each day I must learn something new whose discovery comes from my own efforts and insight. Sometimes I find out new things other times is a matter of editing and simplifying what I know that opens new horizons and ideas.

    1. My own expectations push me to do my best. I want to see how go good I can be or how high I can fly. Right now I have a goal to be the top sales person in my company and I am excited to get there.

  4. So often doing my best means just being there, participating, getting it done. It’s not just about pulling off those big achievements but that daily consistency…especially as a parent living with chronic health and disability issues.
Helping other people is a huge motivator for me.
I thought you might enjoy reading about taking up ballet again at 47 to shake things up a bit and because I didn’t just want to keep watching. I wanted to dance! https://beyondtheflow.wordpress.com/2016/08/12/dancing-to-the-stars/

      1. That’s great advice, isn’t it. I can see some great tips developing in the comments so thanks very much for contributing to that. I really value these tips and try to take them on board.
