Quitters Do Win!

I GIVE UP.

I QUIT.

I CAN’T.

Probably not the words you would think to hear from a champion or a winner. In fact, uttering those words would mean the risk of putting yourself in a category of people who have the big L stamped across their forehead; Can someone say L-O-S-E-R? But what if I was to let you in on a little secret? That waving the white flag of surrender ultimately unleashes the conqueror inside of you?

My life up to this point has been full of incredible experiences. They are memories of deep joy as well as moments of deep sorrow and pain. As a Christian, I believe that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8: 28).   1. One learns more in defeat that when winning especially if one draws a lesson from the defeat or failure. Victory can often go to one’s head and make one arrogant, self praising and self opinionated. Most successful people and winners are like this. They become complacent and detached from reality. As examples Mohammed Ali and Tyson admitted that they became better persons when they lost.
