  1. Well almost any day can be a day off for me but if I plan deliberately, I like to watch movies or read and listen to music. Sometimes I go people watching or I eat something fun.

  2. Paddle. Or, photo hunt. Or, go junking. Or, Hsiang with my wife and/or boys. Or,…..well, I couldn’t pick just one. Right now, as cold s it is, I’d probably pick sitting next to the fire wrapped in a quilt with several layers of Under Armor on.

      1. We love it too. It’s addictive. We’re lucky enough to be less than an hour away from being on Hwy 127, where the Worlds Longest Yard Sale takes place. It’s so awesome!! 😃

      2. Oh, it is. We’ve never done it all, it goes from northern KY through Gadsden, AL. Hundreds of miles of anything and everything. We start near home, in Lawerenceburg, KY and usually spend a couple days heading south. We’ve made it all the way through TN and into AL before, but there’s so many to stop at, it’s next to impossible to go too far before it shuts down. I recommend it. 😃

  3. Well, since I’m retired, I have lots of days off. But now that I’m retired I really do want to work. When I was working I wanted to retire. Crazy, I know! One of my greatest joys now is to volunteer at the Billy Graham training center at the Cove in Asheville North Carolina. Able to use at least a little bit of my brain!

  4. Blogging is at the top of the list (Sat is my only real day off!!) I also like to read, do Sudoku, watch movies, take the dog to the dog park (too cold right now!!) I’m never bored, that’s for sure!!!

  5. I love taking a day to just read the blogs I follow. I also love to research the things I love doing; cooking, baking, gardening, and now sewing! Sewing will probably take up a lot of my free time for a while!

      1. LOL Oh! I HAD to sew in high school and tried it in my 30’s but someone just sent me a sewing machine and I’m incredibly excited about really learning to sew!

      2. That’s my biggest fear after seeing my aunt run the needle through her nail when I was a kid. I approach that thing like I’m one of those bomb guys and it’s packed with C4 and shrapnel!

  6. eating, get fashion tips from Jason’s blog, looking for parts to restore my X-wing fighter, exchanging emails with the Pope and working on my strategy on how to become the next Yahtzee World Champion. it’s a pretty non-dazzling lifestyle that I have.

  7. I work on an aircraft carrier. Nothing is ever close by so I do a lot of walking up and down ladders all day. When I get off, I find my favorite spot off the couch. I don’t want to walk up any steps after I leave the ship so I hardly ever go upstairs to my room on the weekend. I cook, clean, watch tv, read, and write but I never get too far from my spot on the couch.

  8. Depends on the weather. When it is not below freezing, snowing or icing, then walking out in nature. Most of the time, on days off it is reading, sleeping, and perhaps catching up on bogs, emails, and TV shows.
