Let Me Ask You A Question – 3/1/17

Let me ask you a question:

Does your Zodiac sign accurately describe your personality?

  1. As a lover of astrology, I recognize that I’m not solely my sun sign. With that said, my Aquarius sun does describe my external personality very well. My Capricorn Moon and Rising tends to diminish some of its aspects, though.

      • Lol! Well, there’s something called the natal chart, or birth chart. By putting in our birth info (date, birth place, and time) into a natal chart calculator, we can see a chart of where all the planets were at the exact time of birth. Each planet has its own energy and depending on the sign it’s in, expresses itself in a unique way to you. My favorite calculator to use is:

This one will show you your placements as well as offer a description of each further down the page.

      • Not in the way that I live my life by it, but I definitely think it can be a helpful tool in some ways! Mainly in understanding myself more fully. Once I did my natal chart and began learning more about the placements, I found my belief in it strengthened. So many connections and correlations!

  2. It does to a point but in order to get a correct reading you have to take into account your parents Zodiac signs the day and time you were born and where your moons were at the exact moment. There are generalizations that all sings carry but not exact. Great post and question though. ☺☺

  3. I never put much stock in this sort of thing, but Nikki will read me something about being an Aquarius from time to time and it always fits. In answer to your question I would say yes my sign fits me like a perfectly broke in baseball cap.

    Fun fact-
Aquarius is an air sign even though it contains the word aqua and is the “water bearer”, perhaps this is why I have this constant struggle between the inner me and outer me.

  4. No! not in the least. Yes it is very much a reflection of me. ME! What me are we referring to here? The me that is me! Well that me is not reflected in the Zodiac sign. It is! Is not! ( I am a Gemini and this sort of discussion goes on and on and on)

      • I don’t understand the how’s of it but it’s pretty freaky for most of us how much it fits. I have read about all the signs and none come close to describing me except for Pisces.
I know there are a lot of people that poo poo the idea…but I don’t care. I love it. Even the bad stuff…if we’re honest matches. I know I am moody and sensitive and I can fall into the victim role and by owning those things, I can work on them if I feel they are weaknesses.
        It’s a really cool thing.

and….I also have had a Pisces tattoo since I was 19….impulsive little Pisces that I am. 😉

  5. I haven’t study my zodiac until your question raised my curiosity. My BD is November 22, so I am Sagittarius, 70% of the description is pretty accurate. Being born on 22, I share some personality of Capricorn, and it’s partly accurate. I acknowledge all the positive traits and ignore the rest…..!! 🙂

  6. I’m more inclined to agree. Although I don’t reflect all the traits of a Leo but for most of the characteristics, I think I have them especially when it comes to leadership and relationship. 😊

  7. It does. There is more to it though. I once decided to participate in a astrology course because I wanted to understand all of this better. And it really opened up an entirely new world to me. So many reactions and actions of people suddenly make sense. Mine included. Not that your zodiac should ever be used as an excuse for your behavior, but in some ways we can’t help ourselves. My moment I can’t help myself is if you push me hard. Push and push and push. It takes a lot until I have enough but once I do you will struggle to stop me. Like an avalanche. Or like a Taurus…
I’m not proud of it and it’s something I work on because I don’t like losing control and I don’t usually but as I said, if you keep pushing those buttons you eventually get me going…
