Let me ask you a question:

When was the last time you laid down and watched the clouds…or something similar?

  1. Just the other night. I wasn’t staring at clouds, or lying down. But, I let our dog out before bed, it was very warm, and it was a crystal clear night. So, while I was waiting on her to finish her business, I sat on the tailgate of my truck and watched the stars for a bit.

  2. I do this with my kiddos pretty often. If I didn’t have them or if they were older, I wouldn’t do it alot on my own. Not that I wouldn’t want to. I just wouldn’t think to.

  3. Maybe a week or so ago with my grand daughter, I wasn’t lying down but we watched them from my patio, we were sitting in a chair. We saw many things, She is 2 1/2 (I am not allowed to forget the 1/2) and she said she saw a train. LOL, I didn’t see anything even close to a train but I believe her. God love the children. ☺☺☺

  4. Maybe not the clouds so much, as they tend to pass quickly here in West Texas, but I definitely stare up into the night sky almost every evening. I like to follow la Luna and her phases as well as watch the twinkling stars and gaze into the abyss. It’s humbling and inspiring. 🙂

      • Right?! It’s amazing. I still remember the night that I looked up and came to that realization. It reminds me a bit of what the astronauts call the overview effect.

      • You are so right, that’s exactly what I have been doing. Thanks for your questions really gets me thinking of the more important things in life. It’s amazing how when you are young and you have so much to live for but you don’t until you run out of time then you want to start living. Thanks
