Let me ask you a question:

Is it important to you to keep your inner child alive?

  1. Absolutely, I know I’ve never felt better then when I include, play, self-nurturing and fun in my week”s activities. In my opinion, we are more in tune with ourselves and everyone around us when we nurture our inner child.

  2. It is absolutely important. That inner child helps when life becomes a grind. I’m lucky enough to live in a house where everyone has a great sense of humor. Our humor runs from dark (not for the weak of heart) humor to childish jokes about bodily functions, and whatever you do don’t say the word poop around Nikki, she will lose complete control of herself. (She may or may not want people to know that)

  3. Absolutely keep the inner child alive however you see fit to do that. I remember a quote ( author forgotten ) ” It is never too late to have a happy childhood.” This , I think, is why we should keep the inner child alive.

  4. Of course! Even in a world that is so hard and tough, necessary to have a childlike spirit to get through difficulties. Otherwise you’ll become sour, bitter, resentful. It’s a balancing act you have to work at. Nit too much child, not too much old cranky person with black knees socks and a collection of mumus.

      • I think because they enter the rat race and focus on the wrong values. They would love to let their inner child out but are also afraid not to be taken serious anymore. I believe that they are scared that if they are not taken serious they will not be successful. They starve it, suffocate it. Just because they run after the wrong thing. All their life. And then, when they realize that they’ve done it’s too late. There is no going back. When they want to revive their inner child there is usually not much time left for them to do so. It’s down the line of the biggest regrets of the dying…

        What do you think?
