Let Me Ask You A Question – 3/17/17

Let me ask you a question:

Today is St. Patrick’s Day which brings to mind leprechauns and pots of gold.

Can you think of something that you believe that most would consider fairy tale?

  1. Being Irish I grew up on tales of faeries. But they weren’t the sweet, helpful fairies of Disney. The Dullahan, because they are headless, are pretty scary for a kid! Grogochs, which are apparently all male, and changelings which have a frightening story behind them were up there on my “must avoid” list. Merrows of Irish lore aren’t the lovely mermaids you find everywhere else! They’re dark, frightening creatures. The Pooka is one of the two that scared me the most as a child because it can assume a variety of terrifying forms. The Banshee also terrified me. The idea that she’d begin to shriek outside my home heralding the death of a family member…*shudder*. Leprechauns and Cluricauns didn’t scare me but I hated that the Cluricans would steal!
No wonder we Irish are so fond of our whiskey!

  2. I firmly believe that the Roswell incident is real and the government covered it up. Just by typing that on your blog, I fear that both of us have just been added to a watch list so I apologize if your next trip to the airport is met with some resistance.

I don’t know if I believe in ghost, but the thought of them being real scares the crap out of me.

I’ve had reoccurring very vivid dreams about the White Lady or Lady in White since I was a teenager. The dream is always exactly the same, the frequency has decreased but it stills freaks me out when I have it.

  3. Let’s see….

I believe in the paranormal for sure. I have been to psychics and I totally believe in them. There are a lot of frauds…but there are real true psychics out there. I believe in ghost/spirits.
I believe in astrology and numerology.
Some might think it’s strange how completely I believe in the power of our own thoughts and Karma. I am a true believer in both.
That’s all I can think of…but the truth is I’m pretty open to most things.

  4. I don’t believe in all of the things mentioned here, except for angels, I believe in them. I also believe that when someone passes away, 2 more are going to follow close behind. They always come in 3s. Oh, I’m still on the fence about the paranormal. I will probably never have an experience because I would have a heart attack and die.

I don’t know what the linky thing is at 6 but count me in! https://invisibleillnessesblog.wordpress.com/about-me/
