Let me ask you a question:

I ask a lot of questions of you so…

What question do you have for me?Β

    • That’s a tough one. I’m not exactly sure, but I know that if we allow life to run us instead of us running life, things can get a little out of control. I think it is smart to make time for ourselves.

    • I too suffer from a lack of sleep being an insomniac. Happy when I get 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I stopped fighting it only a year ago because fighting to get sleep was exhausting and frustrating me I began to do one of two things that has helped me be a little less irritable. If I am exhausted yet cannot sleep I try to lay down and either listen to an audio book or relaxing music and think about the the good things in my life giving thanks to God for the list my mind creates. If laying still is something my body fights me on the I get up and try to find something constructive to do, like writing or painting, or I work on getting rid of some of the clutter in my home. I am still tired from the lack of sleep but my mood is better than it used to be. I admit that I would still like to get more sleep though.

  1. If you could meet one person (dead or alive) for dinner who would it be? What would the event be like? Since you ask a question everyday, I think I can ask more than one. Lol. What’s your favorite band? Favorite movie?

      • Okay. I have always been a higher volume blogger so I don’t really need a lot of motivation. I realized a long time ago that more posts means more viewers. What I try to do is give everyone something they might enjoy. Videos, original written pieces, simple images, jokes and Question of the Day. After a few years of doing this I’m used to producing a lot of content. I guess in a way, my readers are my motivation because many have come to expect the posts.

  2. You’ve written in the past about blogging being as much work now with all your followers as it was when you had 100 followers. You also said that no matter how exciting it is to hit a benchmark, you are always left wanting more. So my question to you is…. why do you blog and is there an end goal?

      • I have won my league the last 2 seasons and used a similar formula both drafts where I started with drafting RB, RB, WR If I had first pick I go David Johnson (dude’s a beast). From there it is really difficult to say because it depends on who gets drafted ahead of my picks. So my 2nd round pick would be the last pick I would say a player like Latavius Murray. Then with the 1st pick of the third round I would take the best available WR probably Ty Hilton.

      • I drafted Johnson 1st in one league last year, you’re right he is beastly. Murray just got picked up by my Vikes! Good formula, I usually have my backs and receivers filled before even considering a QB, unless they start flying off the board. Nikki drives me crazy she picks players she likes, most of whom are Pats, and she has one the only two years she has played. She will NOT pick a Jet under any circumstance.

    • Great question. One thing that nags me is thinking I don’t have enough experience to do x, y, z. My mind brings this up in many aspects of my life. When it does though I fall back on the fact that one will never be smart enough, experienced enough. We just have to do our best.
