  1. Hi I’ve just started my blog and am on day 6. I’m actually following you. I was institutionalised for 12 years in a private psychiatric hospital for my all my suicide attempts. At this time my only diagnosis was Bipolar disorder. I was medicated and sedated and someone described me as, “locked in a chemical cage”. After getting out of the private psychiatric hospital I entered the public system where there my diagnosis of BPD and bipolar disorder were treated. I missed out on the whole world of technology and am blogging on a smartphone. Anyway I enjoy reading your blogs.

  2. Hi Danny, after getting out of the private system 12 years ago. I have received the best treatment and therapy in the public services in Ireland 🇮🇪 and have recovered from BPD. Thankfully now my psychiatrist is treating my bipolar disorder 11 without medication except for the aid of a sleeping tablet for chronic insomnia. I’m doing really well and no longer suicidal.
