  1. I was going to say Absolutely but Sonofabeach96 said it so much better!!! It centers me, calms me, and refreshes me! It gives me a peaceful and powerful place to reflect and redirect. I love the ocean! In fact, now that you mention it, I think I’ll go tomorrow. LOL

  2. The ocean 🌊 heals everything. My mind..
    my mood…
    my whole being…

I love ❀️ to sit and look at the vast body of water.. take in where the horizon meant the sky…
listening to the waves 🌊 as roll up and breaks against the shore..
feel the wind πŸ’¨ against my face..
Walking 🚢 along the beach 🌊 feeling the sand between my toes…

Making your mind drift away ..get lost in the quiet surrounding…

      • I think our move from sea to land is probably too far back in evolution to have a large effect. In part, I think it has more to do with the immensity, mystery, and changing moods of the ocean. There is also the idea that negative ions blowing off turbulant salt water are a natural anti-depressant. When I lived in Santa Cruz, CA, I could just stand in awe of the power of great waves of a Winter storm. In the sea we see something clearly huge, beautiful, dangerous – elemental.

  3. Yes it does! Helps me put my life–successes and challenges–into perspective. I feel so calm at the beach. Watching the waves and looking at the vast ocean reminds me I’m so small, such a tiny part of this world. So yes, the ocean is healing for meπŸ™‚

  4. Yes! Everything about the ocean makes me feel calm and at total peace. I grew up on the coast and spent countless hours starring out at the ocean. If I close my eyes and focus really hard I can not only picture it, but smell it, hear it and even feel the ocean air on me cheek. ❀

  5. When I first moved to Florida, it was for a new job. It was a great job at first, but soon became stressful and thankless. I lived about 5 minutes from the ocean and would spend at least 30 minutes each day after work walking along the beach. i can tell you that I felt much better afterward. I liked to visualize my issue of the day as a single grain of sand on the beach and give it the same degree of importance.

  6. Yes! I love the ocean! I especially love maui. The ocean, in my opinion is one of God’s greatest creations. I love Maui. Kihei in particular. When I’m there the sound of the ocean, the birds, the cool tropical breezes and the beaautiful sunsets are so healing for me. Emotionally, spiritually and physically. Life would be even greater if I could experience that feeling every day. The ocean has away with washing all the negative stuff we carry in our hearts away.
