Let Me Ask You A Question – 6/22/17

This morning’s post was about how the rain is killing my buzz..  Let me ask you a question…

What weather condition really gets you down or bothers you?

  1. I am weird (ok, stating the obvious, I know)… I am bothered by strong winds, but only when I am home. It makes me nervous, for some mysterious reason. I fear that tree branches will break the windows, even though I never experienced anything like it before. If I am out, at work or anywhere else, it doesn’t even cross my mind. I even enjoy storms, if I am not home. Bizarre, I know 😉

  2. The weather we are experiencing right now. It’s been in the triple digits for about 2 weeks now with a small break on Sunday. Even then it was 88. When it’s over a hundred degrees the house is kept pretty dark because we keep the blinds closed and I can’t open the windows to get some fresh air …never mind getting outside to breath some in! I am beyond grateful for our A/C but after a few hours I feel like i’m breathing in old air. I’m feeling very sleepy and very cranky! 😉

  3. I grew up in Upstate New York where the winters last about 9 months and summer lasts about 2 weeks. Syracuse is the 2nd cloudiest city in the country and battles with Buffalo to be the snowiest. I’ve lived in Florida for the past 22 years and, when I travel back home, the endless dreary, cold, damp days really get to me. I’ve traveled back in the summer, though, and wonder how I could ever have left. Then I remember that those sunny, war days are a rarity. (I think there was an answer in here somewhere) 🙂

    • When we would go to Boston to visit my sister in March it would sometimes be snowing or snow on the ground. 37 degrees and windy, cloudy. I understand why those people can be so tough and sharp-edged. lol
