What is your secret to a good night’s sleep?

  1. I always have the same routine. Turn the overhead light out, read a bit, do my nightly devotional and journaling, and make sure I take my meds. I also take melatonin which helps a lot. Are use lavender oil to help my legs not be so spastic and cramping. I’ve also begun taking a teaspoon of mustard. Sounds weird, I know, but it works, again for the specificity and cramping.

  2. I seem to sleep better when I exercise that day. I just spent a day at an amusement park with my family, and I slept like a rock. All the walking (6 miles!), waiting in lines in the heat… but I can’t do that every day, lol😊

  3. Apparently, it’s travel. I sleep better when I’m away from home. I think part of this is because there are so many things I want to do when I’m home that my sleep is shortened or disrupted with thought. When I travel, I put in a solid 10-12 hour day of intensive work and I’m drained when I get to the hotel. I try to write for an hour or so and then I crash.
