Therapy Bits

TURNING SPINNING FALLING DOWN
SOMEONE PLEASE CATCH US BEFORE WE HIT THE GROUND
BREAKING, SHATTERING, FILLING OUR HEART WITH SORROW SO EXTREME
COMFORT WE DO NOT FIND ANYWHERE
NOR DOES IT SEEM TO BE WITHIN ARMS REACH
SHAME SO HIDDEN
YET UNFAIR BLAME SO STRONG
BETRAYAL THAT CUTS DEEPER THAN DEEP
LEAVING SCARS THAT RAMIN THOUGH HIDDEN SECRETLY
ANOTHER LIFE SHATTERED FOR THEIR OWN SELFISH GAIN
HOPE SNATCHED AWAY CONSTANTLY
MADE A RAG TO WIPE THEIR FILTH ON
OH PLEASE, OH PLEASE
CANT YOU JUST LEAVE US THE HELL ALONE?
WE DID NOT ASK FOR THIS PAIN THAT WE NOW BEAR
NOR NIGHTMARES DAY AND NIGHT
OF MEMORIES THAT FLOOD US ONCE AGAIN
I AM AFRAID BUT HOW CAN I BE
WHO PROTECTS A PROTECTOR?
OR COMFORTS A COMFORTER?
WHO CRADLES THE CHILDREN THAT WEEP ALONE WITHIN AT NIGHT?
WHEN TAUGHT THAT LOVE AND AFFECTION AND COMFORT ARE NOT ALLOWED
