Let me ask you a question:

What is the best Halloween costume you’ve created or seen at a party?

  1. This bar we used to frequent back in college used to have a costume contest on Halloween night. Anyone who was competing would wander around the 3 levels of the bar, hoping to get spotted and named a finalist by the undercover judges. The best costume I’ve ever seen was on one of those nights. This guy came as Pinhead from Hellraiser. It was perfect! Looked like he just came off the movie set. He won the contest too. 😃

  2. My father went to a party as a Chinese Mandarin in a yellow embroidered silk gown. He has his hair slicked back and a pony tail attached . He put on some makeup to change the tone of his skin. He also put long whiskers on to add to his own moustache they trailed down to his chest. He went to the party and was not recognized by anyone. And….he did not speak to anyone all evening; he just drifted around the party occasionally bowing to someone and raising his glass to them.

  3. Freddy Cruger. My son went as him when he was about 8. Between my husband and I we had him in a burned up shirt and jeans, he even smelled of smoke, he had the right hat and my husband made the glove out of an old work glove and pieces of metal he ground down to resemble the blades. We had his face all made up with the puddy stuff and painted up real good. He really looked like a mini Freddy. He looked awesome and even scared some kids while at the mall.

      • We made the can top from a thick cardboard and cut a hole for the head and it rested on the shoulders. The sides were made from while material with the current pepsi design at the time made out of felt and sewed on. It hung straight down and looked like a can. Not uncomfortable at all.
