Take a few moments to think before answering and then…Let me ask you a question:

What is the longest distance you have ever walked?

  1. I have no idea, but there’s been times I’ve had to walk after a car broke down, long before the advent of cell phones, of course. I know I walk a ton at work, retrieving and returning patients to rooms, to the basement for supplies, and to hunt wheelchairs. We walk a ton in flea markets and Peddlers malls too. 😃

  2. I think the farthest I have walked is around 2 or so hours at a time, I don’t know miles or KM or anything like that exactly lol. Unless you count the days I worked being constantly on my feet all day running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. Walking around a store doesn’t seem like a lot when you look at it, but you put some damn miles in. I lost a ton of weight from doing that job, at that time I didn;t even work out, just my job. Lol.

My husband walked 18 miles or something to the bus station. (When we met, yes we met online originally. long story short it was last minute and he didn;t have a ride. Unplanned. We have been inseparable ever since. He broke his foot though and was probably really bad for his health. He assures me it was worth it and quite the experience to tell and how it affected him. Things he thought about etc walking miles on your own etc) Even healthy people if you don;t take breaks, drink lots of water walking 4-6 hours can be dangerous. Especially when it is not planned. xD

  3. I can definitly say 9 miles. What is more impressive is my son did it with me, he was 4 at the time. I probably have walked further and the only reason why I say that is because I was walking home, took a short cut and about 4 hours later, finally found myself at home. This was before mobile phones and such like
