  1. I am not a nosy neighbor. We have lived in our house for 16 years, and only know our immediate neighbors. We do have a neighborhood website. The things people post crack me up. Too much time on their hands!

      1. No doubt. When I was growing up, in a dense city neighborhood, we had neighbors like that. When we’d park, you’d see curtains pull back as they watched to see who and when. We always waved at them, then the curtain would suddenly close. 😏

      2. Oh, I’m sure we got gossiped about. My parents were hippies, so the crowd they hung with, parties thrown, etc. was a bit different from the rest of the neighbors. 😃😃

  2. 1. Its hard to be effectively nosy when the neighbors are gone for the season, but, on the other hand, I’m left as the default Neighborhood Watch. Basically, though, I prefer to mind my own business.
    2. I like others to mind their own business too.

    1. I find that common these days. We are more connected as a society via the internet, but less connected with others as a whole. I’m exactly the same way, I stick to my family.

      1. I think, it is more easy to find equal minded people online, than by walking at the street or visit the local bar, as are much used here. Mostly do visit for their coffee and few for more. All talk there are very open-minded, much more open-minded, than my culture taught me to be to strangers.

      2. I find the blogging world to be much more open-minded like you have noticed. It is refreshing. I can talk about anything and everything. People might not agree with me but they typically don’t judge.

    1. Ok. so in light of your comment I’ll admit I people watch sometimes too. I don’t spy either, but now I’m wondering if I’m a little more nosy than I originally thought. lol

  3. I am not a nosy neighbor, but I do like to keep an eye on what’s going on. My husband is an extreme extrovert and knows everyone in our neighborhood. Nosy people don’t bother me. They usually have too much time on their hands. I’m a pretty boring person. I’m sure there are a lot more interesting people in our neighborhood, so they can go stick their noses under their tents.

    1. We have one person in our neighborhood who knows everyone. He is outgoing so he talks to everybody and knows all the details and goings-on. He’s a bit of a gossip too.
