Other people’s opinions of me. Growing up, I felt crushed at the slightest negative comment. I wouldn’t say I’m completely over it, but it only just registers in my mind nowadays.
Sports, in general. With the exception of my college alma mater and the Cubs. I still care about both, and I’m what I’d consider a die-hard fan. But I’ve lost most interest in NFL, NBA, PGA. Not sure why, but having kids, a farm, a full-time job, etc keeps my mind on other things. 😃
I’m the same. I am now a casual sports fan. I keep up with scores and standings but I’m not upset if I miss a game because I have to go to Target with the wife.
Definitely Night Clubs, at one time I was in one 6 nights a week. I can’t think of anything worse now. As for sports I’m still there, but it was and always will be Athletics, but that could be because I’m still participating. Apart from that Mars Bars 😜
I could not imagine going to a nightclub now. When I was young I wouldn’t leave my flat until 9:30 pm! Now I’m in bed asleep by 8:30. lol How things have changed. 🙂
Very true. My husband and I ran up a huge credit card debt several years ago. We managed to pay it back through hard work, sweat, and tears. Now, we only have one credit card and haven’t used it in more than a year.
Drinking, going out on a Saturday night, money

I’m the same. I try to focus on valuing the right people’s opinions not everyone’s opinion.

Exactly. That’s the healthy way to be.

Oh, there are a bunch of things, but to name one, almost anything that requires standing in line behind more than six people.

I will wait for a table at a great restaurant or maybe at an amusement park. Other than that I avoid lines at all costs. lol

Being in the ‘right’ places and socializing with the ‘in’ crowd. Lol. Can’t believe that was an actual thing on my weekly to do list.

There are a lot of people who live their whole lives doing this. Glad you grew out of the habit. 🙂

I’m with sonofabeach 96. I still know what’s going on in sports, generally speaking, but I no longer follow them like I used to for multiple reasons.

I was once a diehard fan of sports, but not now. My life has grown into something completely new and different. I don’t miss sports at all.

Being right.
When I was young, I was extremely argumentative. I always wanted to be right.
Now, I understand that sometimes I am wrong.

You win best answer of the day! I have a nephew who is argumentative and it really gets old after a while. I hope he grows out of it.

The way of the modern world. We surround ourselves we useless things and most people do so on credit cards which compounds the problem!
