She talks about the people who are so self-focused that they seem to derive pleasure from dwelling on all the things that are going wrong in their life. I am afraid that is me. It is not exactly pleasure, but it draws attention and it also draws more of the same thing. The more I dwell on it the worse it gets and the more I draw to me. Every day something else happens and I go here I go again. Why do these things happen to me? The simple answer is that I draw them to me, by constantly dwelling on them. It isn’t easy to stop either.
