Viciously angry and I want to tear their head from their body, but I usually smile and say everyone has a right to their opinion. Then I lay in a darkened room with flowers and play some Mozart 🙂
OH. Well in my part of the South, St. Simon’s Island, it means complaining about not having something. As in “Stop poor mouthing, you don’t even need that!” Bad mouthing is what we call speaking badly about someone or something.
I often try to get to the bottom of it if I know someone personally, seeing that I love debate, but if a person deals in absolutes like “it is bad”… “it sucks” etc … I can’t talk to that person, it just isn’t worth it…
if however he/she uses well constructed arguments I would investigate their viewpoint. It doesn’t detract from my enjoyment.
That is the best thing to do, although I can’t help but fell a little sad when someone “poor mouths” something i like, even if only for a little while.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, which I’ve always plenty of, btw. I just wonder, like in the T situation, where their head is, but it’s up to each person to make their own decisions about anything.
I’m fine with it. For one, I’m in charge of my happiness. Everyone has an opinion on everything. If I like it, that’s all that matters.

Move on and do what I enjoy. I do not need someone’s approval for what I enjoy!

Like they don’t know what they’re missing or that they’re petty. Mostly though, it’s a “Whatever”, thing.

🙂 The natural tendency would be to defend it. But, I have learned over the years, that everyone is entitled to their opinion.

It’s their loss if they don’t appreciate the good thing in life. Also, in the case of food, more for me if they don’t want it.
