  1. I think there is not one ultimate form of expression of love. I would rather say that, whatever the form, to be ultimate it must fit the context of the circumstances and the relationship, and meet the needs of the loved one in a way they are able to feel freely and truly loved.

    1. I think that is the best place to start. You can be completely silent but be present at the exact right time and it can be the best love ever.

  2. I would say it varies by person and situation. For example, my daughter is very in tune to my feelings and she often gives me hugs because she believes I need them. Today a friend was given a cup about fighting cancer. He posted he thought of me, that he’s there for me and that simple gesture moved me to tears. So, I believe it’s highly individualized and there’s not a one-size-fits-all answer.

  3. If someone wanted to show me their love for me, they would buy me a mansion with an indoor swimming pool and a helicopter pad on the roof.

If I want to show my love for them I am just there, sometimes to talk, sometimes to listen, sometimes to hug.

I admit, in monetary terms it is a tad unfair 😉
