The clearest, if the planet is outside our solar system, would be a planet near the same size as Earth in the “Goldilocks Zone” with water vapor, free molecular oxygen in the atmosphere, which would indicate a high probability of photosynthetic plant life, and carbon dioxide, which would indicate aerobic animal life in a stable carbon cycle with the plants. For a planet in the solar system, the best evidence would be actual living organisms.
I believe there is life in the universe somewhere, but I doubt we will ever found them or vice versa. We don’t have the ability to travel the distance.
I already do. I think it would be selfish of “earthlings”: to assume that in all the vastness of the many different universes out there, that we are the only planet with life.
I think we’re close to discovering some type of life. Planets and moons with water and ice have been discovered. It’s only a matter of time before some type of simple cellular life is found. As for sentient life from other planets, some type of contact that is reputably documented and verified would be the most acceptable proof.

You’re probably right, but our silicon children, better suited to life beyond the comforts of blue planets might make it.

What if scientists found a planet with a body of water?

That is how I see it. There’s a higher probability in favor of life than against.

I think so too.

I believe already! For sure we’re not alone in the universe 🙂

I’m a believer also! I don’t understand how a rational thinker can say there is 100% nothing out there.

based on mathematical probabilities only, we can not be alone.

I agree. Billions and billions of galaxies must have life somewhere.

I agree with the above, a spaceship coming down

I have been watching UFO shows lately and I wonder what all of these sightings could be. They are so odd and unexplained.
