That depends. I like both.

Depends on the day. I don’t mind either, but I’m more inclined to be alone when possible.
Alone.
My time is mostly alone, which makes the time with friends more special. Family, except for occasional long phone calls with my step-son, are not in the picture, being either deceased or, in the case of my cousins, far scattered and of little common interests.

Definitely with friends and family. It is what recharges me. But, I also need a few hours alone time each day.
It depends on what I need at the moment. I can recharge around people who don’t expect me to entertain them, which can be family. But usually I will choose to be alone because I don’t mind as much when I get on my own nerves and I’m pretty quiet.
I enjoy peace therefore I choose solitude.
Usually alone, I have plenty to keep me happy, contented and occupied. I do enjoy family time, unfortunatley they live 4 hours away from me. I do meet up with a friend for lunch and chat about 6 weeks and that time is so cool. Yesterday I had lunch and chitchat with 5 nurses that I used to work with, that was ok but to be honest I was glad to get back home.
I do what you do, pick my spots. But ultimately I enjoy being home on the sofa reading or watching a documentary.
Being an introvert, I tend to enjoy my own company. Family, oh hell no. Friends? Have to be in the right frame of mind. In other words, I have to put my tolerance earphones on in order to cope with most of them. LOL!
I pick people I like, of course, which makes socializing easier. Being around a lot of people can be quite the drain.
Alone, I have a six year old and that time alone is very peaceful
There is nothing like peace and quiet.
It is very lovely, although I do miss him alot, I know he is going to make that noise up to me

More people are saying “alone” than I thought would.
I think as you get older you just like the peace x.
