  1. Most of the time, that doesn’t seem to be a problem. Once in a while, there’s something on my mind that won’t shut up. Then, I try not to get too wound up about not sleeping and adding that issue on top of the other.

      1. For me, it is usually between 5 & 6. Bedtime is a bit after 10, with bladder wake ups around 12 & 2. I get back to sleep easily after those. Of course, the time change shifts things for a few months each time until the body clock adjusts.

  2. I read for at least half an hour. After that if I have a problem I say over in my head. “Breath in, breath out.” In time with my breathing, that way I’m not thinking about anything else, a bit like counting sheep I suppose, it takes a few attempts though. I usually sleep about 4-5 hours before the demons start. I also spray something called ‘Thisworks’ pillow spray (some kind of lavender concoction) it does actually work 😀😀

  3. I can’t really place it. However as a habit I don’t have issues with sleep. The probable reason I guess is that I don’t dwell on issues I can’t help. I sleep when I want to, night inclusive. A great question you posted. I thought it a natural habit to me until your question.
