Jump right in to tackling whatever problem is worrying me. Do nothing is what makes my anxious moments exponentially worse.

What if it is something that only time will fix. How do you deal with anxiety then? Plow the field? lol

Nah. I don’t plow, just now and bale. And, believe it or not, that time in the field is most definitely cathartic. 😃

Look at the “What If?” Is it a problem I can solve, something I can fix? Then do that. If not, if it really is beyond my control, what, really, are the odds, and is there anything I can do to be prepared if it happens? If it is low probability and there’s nothing I can do to be prepared, let it go.

Sensible. I tend to over-process stuff which I think adds to my anxiety.

Anxiety ? What exactly is that? Ok Jus kidding. Depends on so many factors, but most of the time I do something about the situation.

Do you ever meditate?

I don’t quite understand what meditation is. Decades ago someone taught me to concentrate on my breathing. It was interesting but have not used the tech. Much.

Haha, I don’t really, I think it just eats away until my mind gets bored thinking about it, then moves onto something else. I think I might be lucky that it never really takes control, not sure. I once considered therapy but my wife, who is a therapist, said it would be unfair to put another human being through that much pain 😉

You always have a way to make me laugh. It sounds like you and I deal with anxiety in a similar way! lol

One way I’ve learned to deal with anxiety is to decide. Decide what is worrying me, then decide how to handle it. Then I stick to my decision on how to solve the problem then leave it alone. No need to worry about it if I have decided on how to solve the issue

I must find a way to let things go. I process and process and think and think. I drive myself crazy.

I just try to breathe through it. I’m not very good at processing it, especially when it’s something like being worried about a loved one.

I don’t do anxiety well either. I tend to hold things in but I’m trying to let it out.
