  1. Yup. In many different ways. Also, I believe prayers are answered, not necessarily when or how you thought they’d be. I had a “I know that was you God” moment yesterday. Frustrated about something, thinking of a solution and BAM a post on Facebook that helped solve my problem within minutes ❤

  2. Not in the sense of supernatural intervention, but as a practice of focus and meditation, yes. Then, there is this observation:

“Most people do not pray; they only beg.” – George Bernard Shaw

  3. Yes! Prayer works. I believe god always answers. It just often times his answer is not what we want. At that point we are disappointed. However as time goes by eventually we look back and recognize that while we didn’t get what we wanted god actually answered in a way that was in our best interest. Prayer has worked for me. I pray every day. Sometimes I’m disappointed even yelling at God but the truth is I know my prayer was heard and is always answered

    1. I”m trying it out via a meditation/prayer type thing. I don’t know if I’m doing it right, but I am trying.

  4. Yes, whether you are a believer, or not! Articulating concerns, desires, needs, gives the brain a boost to help find a solution.
I do not believe that an all seeing power effectively goes through billions of emails each day, and answers them!

    1. I tend to take the Watchmaker approach to the higher power. But I figure prayer can’t hurt so I’m trying it out.

    1. There’s the rub. It is difficult to know what to believe other than what registers inside yourself. Then you have so many people acting like they have the answers.

  5. Yes I believe it works. And it does actually work. Sometimes the answers we seek may not be the ones we want to hear. That’s part of life. But prayer certainly works.
I’m a better person in my relationship with God today because of prayers. I’m married to the best man on earth because prayers work. My medical history was very hopeless and not encouraging at all but I have two biological beautiful children today because prayers work. The jobs I am doing now could not have been if prayers didn’t work. My list goes on and on. Sometimes we may not get the answers we seek, other times we do get the answers we seek. Prayers CERTAINLY DO work. 😊

    1. As I’m working through the prayer idea I’m trying not to be the person asking for things all the time. It doesn’t feel right to be the prayer beggar.
