Forlorn porcelain…

Cyranny's Cove

20181130_181123.jpg

Daisy bloom,
Pretty one,
Kiss on your cheek
From the evening’s gloom.
Porcelain skin,
Soft carnation, you sound
Like a boy’s dream
Come true.
Still the smell of
Sorrow runs in your thin hair.
What is it, in your eyes?
Doleful doll, melancholic darling,
Your silent pout
Is deafening…

Far away from you
Is to be blue my dearest
I wait; purple heart .

I Stole Time

Poetry and Prose

I stole time,

Slowly quietly tiptoed,

I grabbed it forever,

No more time will pass by.

Witnesses to my crime,

Are the shadows,

And the echoes,

Of the love we made.

I won’t let it go,

And if you want to know,

Time is kept caged,

Safe inside my heart.

And if you go searching,

You will never find,

Where I have hidden the keys.

Time is now ineluctable.

Time will never escape us again.

[165] Time Stops In Your Arms

Smoke words every day.

You live in the past so much
I almost believed you lived in Pangea
Categorising your flaws to pick them apart
when the time comes but does the time come
for people who live in the time that’s gone
Sometimes I wonder if I existed before you
Would that be the only way of confirming
my existence for you?

For all I know I’m dramatizing you and
blowing you out of proportion
For all you know I’m a lonely guy
waiting to grab your attention
for a little while till my own attention
wanes for you and I find another one
because I live in the future

How does the past meet the future?
The present is not the right time
because our thoughts are either lingering on
you counting sheep or mine on flying electric cars
I think dreams are our meeting place
where time, as it is, doesn’t…

For a While

memoirsofatroubledteen

I can hear the dynamite string sizzle

I can hear the bridge start to crack

I can hear the bell toll

But my ears don’t process them when I’m with you

The wind whispers to walk away

But in my heart I want to stay

Just to spend another day

With you leading me astray

The storm clouds drift ominously

But the sunlight is so nice right now

The thunder rumbles angrily to heed its warning

But I’m not ready for the final bow

Your twinkling eyes, your Cheshire-Cat smile

Make me want to just forget for a while

“The Free besieged” by Sofia Kioroglou

His intuizione musicale
totally new in the until then known art
with a language, a map of a terra incognito
of transcendental abstractions and idealistic notions

His ideal was unfettered Greece
the crisis still felt today
the Pandora’s box discovered
many a skeleton uncovers

I recognize you by the fierce edge of your sword
Liberty so sacred and so rare
in an era where ” ethnos” is emotively achromatic
Solomos ” The Free besieged” an urgent call for an exodus.

Α few words about Dionysios Solomos – * Dionysios Solomos, the Greek National poet born in Zakynthos Greece: Dionysios Solomos (1798-1857) was born on the island of Zakynthos. Hindrance – a poem

I Am My Own Island

I am a hindrance.

I feel it in my bones.

In my mind

I walk like a ghost trying so hard to be real

At every corner lies a hindrance to my dreams

Money fame love acceptance

Beyond my reach

When will I let these wants go and be at peace?

The Little Crumbs

Dream Desire Achieve

IMG_3016Crumbs.

when I ponder its meaning,
it reminds me about
little things often overlooked,
little details sometimes missed,
little pieces behind the big picture…

In search of the glorious years
We lose sight of the little months,
Maximise the little days
And the months will flourish,
In search of the golden days
We overlook the little minutes…

little words of hope, little smiles,
little pats on the back, little prayers,
little acts of kindness and selfless love;
little things that may seem inconsequential,
but do make a difference when put together…

Crumbs.

as we pursue the big picture
may we not forget,…
The Little Crumbs in life.
