Sometime in January, I made the fatal mistake of saying to one of the Directors at the secret agency, “Whatever happened to First Thursdays?” ‘First Thursdays’ is NOT, as you may have imagined, a clever code name for a secret agent, but refers to a social event that is held on the first Thursday of every month. After work on this special day, we would all head to the nearest bar for drinks and food. It was a great way to mix, mingle, and watch senior management get tipsy. The event had fallen by the wayside over the last year, but we had a lot of new staff, and for some crazy reason, I thought I should bring it up.
“Oh yeah!” he said. “That was always a lot of fun.” Then he said the 5 words that filled my heart with dread. “Why don’t you organize it?”

This winter solstice will bring out the extreme polarization of humanity becomes tangible and noticeable
Polarization and realization – these are the best words to use to explain this phenomenon
The new fifth-dimensional Time line was split off from the original third-dimensional Time line of our chronological history.
A dimension is a layer of reality, which is based on a range of vibrational frequencies. The third dimension is the physical realm. It’s the realm of dense form. The fourth dimension is the astral realm, one of emotion, illusion and distortion. It’s the realm of the sub-conscious mind – our dream world. The fifth dimension, the etheric realm, is a dimension of spiritual truth. And, as a conscious, living being, the planet Earth exists in…
I really like these photos I took of the 2nd Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach (it’s right next to my hotel). It was after sunset, and beginning to get cloudy (it’s supposed to be rainy tomorrow, ugh) but I think that makes these pictures a little moody and more interesting than those taken in full sunlight.
Tomorrow I’m going to try to get some photos of the sunrise. Hopefully it will be visible.
I have been watching a ton of YouTube videos about Disney tips and tricks in preparation for our trip in November. There’s so much to consider when planning a Disney trip; even when you’ve been several times before. I found a channel that I love (The TimTracker) and have binge watched it over the weekend.
Tim and his wife Jenn live in Orlando and chronicle their journeys throughout the parks. It seems that they visit the parks 3-4 times per week and investigate the different resorts, new foods, new events, changes and upcoming changes and much more. I will admit that I am addicted to their channel.
We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside resort this trip and I am using a simple tip that I believe will make our stay a bit more enjoyable. I am using Amazon Prime and shipping all of our daily snacks, water, sunblock, ponchos, backpack and a few other items straight to the resort; our packages will be there waiting on us upon our arrival.
Another trick I’ve learned is to book breakfast in the resorts before the parks open which allows us to eat and then venture in before any crowds and lines develop. This will be especially important at Magic Kingdom where certain rides develop long lines.
I’ll be curious to read how many people who follow my blog enjoy Disney. Some can take it or leave it, but we think it is the most magical place on Earth! Cheers folks!
I have good news! The beach is still here and it is well. We arrived last night and being the party animal I am, I crashed out around 9:30. But I was able to rise early and catch some walking time by the ocean. Now my mind is purged and I’m ready to get sunburned!
Evelina and I are leaving Thursday evening or Friday morning to go to the beach house for a couple of days. There are 2 things to which I am looking forward: late evening walks on the beach and eating the best fried chicken ever! There is a grocery store that has a cafeteria line and makes fresh, homemade fried chicken, meatloaf, fried okra, mashed potatoes. I’m getting hungry just thinking about their food!
